Beauty Box: Unboxing my January – February BDJ Box

I know this post is long overdue. I’ve been very occupied this couple of months with school, my online store, and a new addition to our family (my nephew).
So yeah, I received my Jan-Feb BDJ box last February 2. With a theme, “KAWAII MUST HAVES”.  Obviously with the theme, it’s full of goods from Japan. I’m not much into Japanese cosmetics and skin care, except from the Naturactor I have and goods from Daiso Japanese Store.
I love that it contains 8 FULL SIZED products from skin care to cosmetics to hair products. Also, included in the box is a Kawaii Must-haves mini magazine which tackles beauty tips and even discount coupons. Photo below shows what products I got and I’ll run through details one at a time.

1. Sunkiller Cool Perfect Strong SPF 50++ 30mL  (SRP – Php495)This silky smooth, ultra-light sunblock is highly resistant to sweat and water, making it perfect for all kinds of outdoor situations. It contains a menthol blend which gives you cooling sensation when you apply it to skin, perfect for those hot and humid days. It dries to matte finish.

KS: I love this product… as it just don’t protect my skin from sun but it also gives me this cooling sensation. Tried this just one day and decided to keep it for summer.

2. Bifesta Cleansing Lotion Bright-Up 300mL (SRP – Php 419)
It is the first water-based make up remover that is powerful yet gentle on the skin. It is light and non-sticky, yet provides an effective cleansing action. Contains saxifrage extract, it fights away dead skin cells for an even toned complexion.
KS: This product is really like a water. Doesn’t leave your face sticky and removes makeup (especially my Benefit They’re Real Push Up Eye Liner) which other make up remover hard to remove.

3. Lucido-L Treatment Oil Straight 50mL (SRP – Php 295)
A leave on treatment for sleekier and straighter hair. Wakeup to a softer, smoother hair. It repairs dry and damage hair during sleep making her soft and smooth, with CMC-like ingredients fills up the gaps caused by damage.
KS: Love how soft and silky my hair in the morning upon using this. Just don’t use too much as it can make your hair greasy.
4. Lucido-L Styling Milk Curl 70mL (SRP – Php 295)
Hair styling product with treatment function, powered by high penetrating Hyaluronic Acid that coats hair strands for soft and tangle free hair. Styling Milk Curl is for round and springy curls.
5. Pixy Eyeshadow 2.8g (SRP – Php 315)
Its micro-pearl formula creates soft texture that makes it easy to apply and blend on your lids.
6. Pixy Blush On 3.5g (SRP – Php 345)
This pretty blush will help you pull off that natural, cute flush on your cheeks, giving you sweet and innocent glow whenever you smile.
KS: I like it’s light coral shade (Carnation Bloom 06), looks natural and glowing. Finish is not matte and not too shimmery.

7. Pixy Coverlast 10g (SRP – Php 325)
This long lasting powder foundation from Pixy has Microsphere Powder that covers blemishes for smooth, even and natural look.
KS: Using this for quite sometime now and I love it. Matte finish and controls oiliness of my face. Coverage is good.

8. Pixy Two Way Cake Fit 12.2g (SRP – Php 275)
This powder formula blends perfectly for a smooth and long lasting base. Use it wet for more coverage or dry for natural look.
KS: Had to give this away as it is too dark for me. I got Beige and it looked like I had sunburnt after applying one thin layer of it 🙁 It could be a great bronzer or for contour, but I’m not into contour so I’ll just have to give it away and made someone happy 🙂
The overall worth of all 8 products included in this box is Php2,764!! That a big WOW for a price of BDJ box for only Php580. This box is really worth it and very useful… as the theme itself, it’s a MUST HAVE.

BDJ Box is Php 580 for one month; Php1,700 for 3 months; and Php3,300 for 6 months.
