Dandruff is a common chronic scalp condition marked by flaking of the skin on your scalp. Dandruff isn’t contagious or serious. But it can be embarrassing and sometimes difficult to treat. Dandruff may be caused by a lot of things like having an irritated, oily skin; not shampooing often enough; dry skin and worst, caused by yeast-like fungus.
I started having dandruff when I was in High School and worsen when I was in college. It kind of come and go. Sometimes I have it, sometimes, I don’t. And I’ve been to different dermatologists already and tried tons of anti-dandruff shampoos that are so expensive, but to no avail nothing happened.
I then tried using Head & Shoulders during my college years and that’s when my dandruff kind of lessen a bit. It haven’t disappeared completely, but I would say I’m in control of it already. I have super oily face and scalp, so I tend to overwash my hair leaving it dry. I can’t do the shampoo-every-other-day rule. If I did, my hair will feel greasy.
Ever since, I make sure I won’t run out of Head & Shoulders Shampoo. Even if I had to try other brands, I make sure I go back to Head & Shoulders at the end of the day. My favorite is the Apple Fresh. And so I was glad when I got this loot from SAMPLEROOM PH.

I love this variant because it gives off a tingly menthol feeling for revitalizing freshness. This smells menthol too, although it may smell a bit masculine.

This is my fave! It smells as fresh as a green apple! Although I change from Menthol once in awhile, this is my fave of all variants. What I love about this too, is that it makes my hair a bit soft unlike the menthol variant which makes my hair super dry.

You should have this Smooth & Silky variant if you want gorgeous, shiny and fresh smelling locks without having to worry about flakes. It surely will keep your hair frizz-free while dandruff-free too!
Although, honestly, my scalp isn’t completely dandruff-free… I’m sure it already had reduced and had no visible flakes (unless I scratch the dandruff off). I just can’t get H&S out of my shower routine. I have no visible flakes now and doesn’t develop any thick layer of dandruff anymore since I started using H&S Shampoo.
