Last month, I came across @WrecOver over the Instagram and found out it’s an “anti hang-over”! Just in time for our Cebu trip, a package came full of WrecOver goodies! I’m expecting no hangovers then! 😜

What is WrecOver?

It is an anti hang-over capsule, plus it gives protection for your liver and brain while enjoying a couple of drinks. It is filled with multivitamins, minerals, amino acids, and antioxidants that can help prevent hangovers and protect your brain and liver.

Vitamin B-Complex, Vitamin C, Zinc, Magnesium, Taurine, Ginkgo Biloba, Silymarin, and N-Acetyl Cysteine.

How does it work?

Since our liver can only break down an average of one shot/one bottle of beer/one glass of wine each hour, any excess of intake can lead to formation of a certain toxin (acetaldehyde) which gives off symptoms of hangover.

WrecOver helps prevent the buildup of acetaldehyde by speeding up the breakdown of alcohol into carbon dioxide and water with N-Acetyl-Cysteine, a powerful amino acid and antioxidant that helps neutralize toxins and produce glutathione, an enzyme that plays an important role in the detoxification of ethanol.

Recommended use:

Take 3 capsules with water before drinking alcohol and another 3 capsules with water after drinking alcohol.

The Verdict:

We were out on Cebu to enjoy the Ibiza Beach Club for a few nights which mean I’m also drinking a couple of alcoholic beverages.

On our first night, I have consumed around 2 tall glasses of Mojito, few shots of Vodka, and a tequila on the rocks. I usually over sleep the next day after drinking (doesn’t matter if I have a headache or not)… to my surprise, I wasn’t even sleepy at all. I felt like I wasn’t even drinking the night before. I don’t usually threw up or vomit, so I can’t really tell based on my experience if it can prevent it. But I was really surprised I’m fully recharged all the way up to our 4th day while drinking a couple of alcohol beverages every night.
