Dineline: Café Adriana by Hill Station Baguio

We went to Baguio last week to check on an ongoing shoot of a movie ––John’s company project. It was also an impromptu short vacation for me, John, John’s brother/business partner and his wife! A quick trip to catch up before we all get back to being busy!

We never really had a chance to roam around Baguio every time we go there since it’s always not for leisure like the last time we went to Baguio, it’s for a dental mission. So, we never get to check out several restaurants or places.

After going to the shoot, we planned to eat at Hill Station Baguio which is owned by John’s colleague. But then he told us there’s another branch near from where we are at that moment, and that is Café Adriana by Hill Station.

Café Adriana is situated at the deck of Outlook Ridge Residences with an astonishing view of the Cordillera mountains!

It has a cozy ambiance which makes it a perfect place for families and friends to catch up! (Btw, it was full when we arrived at 1:30pm but the restaurant looks empty in photos because we were there until around 3:00 pm which is after lunchtime already.)

It serves mostly Spanish cuisine like several variants of Paella! You have an option between dining a la carte or buffet. We opted for a la carte. We had Paella Valenciana, Bistecca Y Carabineros, Brick-oven Mixed Sausages Pizza, Turon ala Mode, and their craft Ice cream.

Brick-Oven Mixed Sausages Pizza (Php 270): a medley of their homemade smoked sausages

Bistecca Y Carabineros (Php 495): steak and prawn with lemon butter sauce & mashed potato

Paella Valenciana (Php430): a combination of chicken, smoked pork, chorizo, and seafood

Paella is good for 2-3 persons, but you can never have enough of this delicious food! It was so tasty, and the seafood was fresh!

For desserts, we had their nummy craft ice cream! John and I had the Good Shepherd Uber Flavor which I loved suprisingly since I don’t eat Ube-flavoured ice cream. It tastes like the real Ube Jam from Good Shepherd!!!

Also, I had their Turon ala Mode! My goodness! It’s a must try! I forgot to take a photo of it ‘coz I was so excited to dig in! It looked so appetizing! It has 4 small turon, full of langka and bananas, topped with vanilla ice cream.

After eating, John checked the buffet! LOL. We would definitely try the buffet next time!

The prices were also very reasonable!

We would definitely come back and try the other dishes when we travel to Baguio again! What dish do you want to try too? Or if you’ve been to Café Adriana, which dish do you recommend? Let me know by dropping comments below!
