Grace Cosmetics: Sizzle Summer Party + Review on 95% Aloe Hydrating Gel

I attended Grace Cosmetics’ Sizzle Summer Party last May 18 and discovered a lot of new and exciting products.

I bet it’s your first time to hear Grace Cosmetics. Well, I’m a bit familiar with the brand since my family from Australia sent one of their products before to my mom.

What is Grace Cosmetics Philippines

Grace Cosmetics, established by Val and Sandra Fittler in 1983, is an Australian owned premiere health and cosmetics brand. The company pledges that its products are made from the best natural and botanical ingredients, including certified organic Aloe Vera.

It was made available in the Philippines by Ms Myrna T. Yao, the woman who pioneered the toy industry in the Philippines such as Barbie, Chicco, Hotwheels, and Fisher-Price.

Grace Cosmetics have a wide array of all-natural products from skin care to cosmetics. They have Tea Tree Facial Cleanser, Aloe Moist Dew, Aloe Eye Cream, Beauty Fluids with Natural AHAs, Aloe Free Foundation, and a lot more!

95% Aloe Hydrating Gel

One product I was able to try for a week now is their 95% Aloe Hydrating Gel. I was hesitant at first since I usually don’t like how sticky gel moisturizers are. Thankfully, for a week of using it, I didn’t break out, which usually happens when I try out new products.

I apply it in the morning before my usual makeup routine (beneath tinted moisturizer or foundation). I would say it’s not your ordinary moisturizer –no sticky feeling! Just a background on my skin… I’m usually dry or dry/combination with my T-zone as the only oily area.

What do I love about Grace Cosmetics’ Hydrating Gel?

-It keeps my face hydrated. Most of the times, my foundation will look cakey due to dry skin. So, I need to hydrate my skin a lot of times during the day or retouch. In a week of using this Hydrating Gel, my skin looked well-hydrated and no more cakey makeup.
-I can achieve the “Korean” healthy glow with this product.
-Foundation is easier to apply. My skin feels so soft and smooth after using this gel, which makes it easier for me to apply foundation.
-I got rid of the nasty dry skin in between my eyebrows. I’ve been dealing with this small dry area between my eyebrows. I kept on over-applying other moisturizers overnight to this area, but to no avail, it was still there. It was after 6 days of using this product that I noticed I don’t have that dry spot anymore.

Here’s a recent photo taken showing how smooth my face is…

The makeup artist who did my look compliments how smooth my skin is and how easy she can glide the foundation in my face. Yaas!

I couldn’t be much happier that I was introduced to this brand! I’m looking forward into checking out some of their products!

Wow. It really works wonders. It’s about time it came to the philippines. My skin has been really breaking out lately due to stress. Need this!!

Wow! They gave you a lot of products to try 🙂 Good to know that they worked perfectly to you! Though, honestly the logo is similar to Chanel and Gucci that’s why I thought it’s made from China.

This is a great review. I love aloe vera as a soothing or hydrating gel. Is this like a local product or imported? I’m opt to trying local and organic products 🙂
