Wellness: Oasis Spa at Sukhumvit 31 in Bangkok

Oasis Spa Bangkok x The Sassy Dentist

Bangkok is one of those cities where you can easily spend the entire day walking, shopping, eating, and jumping from one activity to another. So in between all the exploring, we decided to dedicate a few hours to doing absolutely nothing and honestly, it was exactly what we needed.

We visited Oasis Spa Bangkok in Sukhumvit 31, a peaceful garden hideaway tucked right in the middle of the city. The moment you step inside, the busy streets and Bangkok traffic suddenly feel very far away.

What Is Included in the 4-Hour Oasis Experience?

The Oasis Experience at Oasis Spa Thailand currently includes:

  • Thai Herbal Steam
  • Body Scrub
  • Morocco Red Clay Body Wrap
  • Aromatherapy Bath
  • Four-Handed Massage
  • Oasis Tropical Bliss Facial

The full treatment lasts approximately four hours.

It sounds long, but honestly, once you’re inside the spa, four hours somehow goes by incredibly fast.

Bangkok Oasis Spa Couple’s Room

The room felt spacious, quiet, and completely private, with its own bathtub, toilet, and steam room, so you don’t have to keep moving around the spa between treatments.

For couples visiting Bangkok, it makes the whole experience feel more intimate and relaxing, especially if you’re booking a longer package like the 4-hour Oasis Experience.

Thai Herbal Steam

First up was the Thai Herbal Steam to help open the pores, relax the muscles, and prepare the skin for the treatments that followed.

It was the perfect transition from Bangkok sightseeing mode to complete relaxation mode.

Body Scrub and Morocco Red Clay Wrap

Next was the Body Scrub to exfoliate and smooth the skin—and surprisingly, it felt more like a massage than a traditional scrub. There was no aggressive scrubbing. Instead, the therapist gently worked the product into the skin using relaxing massage-like movements.

This was followed by the Morocco Red Clay Body Wrap. The clay was massaged onto the body before we were wrapped for several minutes like a full-body mask.

Definitely one of those treatments where you just surrender and let the spa do its thing.

Aromatherapy Bath

Next came one of my favorite parts of the entire Oasis Spa Bangkok experience: the Aromatherapy Bath.

We relaxed in our private bathtub while enjoying fresh dragon fruit, watermelon, and tea. After the steam, body scrub, and wrap, this felt like the perfect little pause before the main event.

Just soaking in the bath, eating fruit, and drinking tea in the middle of Bangkok?

Very queen behavior.

The Four-Handed Massage

And then came the treatment I was most excited to try.

A four-handed massage in Bangkok? Yes, it’s a thing.

4-handed Massage in Oasis Spa Bangkok

Instead of one massage therapist, two therapists work on you at the same time, using four hands in synchronized movements.

At first, my brain was honestly trying to figure out whose hand was where. But after a few minutes, I stopped trying to understand what was happening and simply relaxed. It feels so good that I don’t want to fall asleep so I can experience it fully.

The synchronization made the massage feel completely different from a regular massage and it was probably the most memorable part of the whole four-hour experience.

If you’re searching for a unique massage experience in Bangkok, I would definitely put this on the list.

Oasis Tropical Bliss Facial

We finished with the Oasis Tropical Bliss Facial, which included cleansing, exfoliation, and a facial mask.

By this point, almost four hours had passed and I had completely lost track of time which I think is exactly what you want from a spa day. My photographer (a.k.a. my husband) fell asleep so I have no photos for this treatment haha!

And what better way to end a Thai spa experience?

And what better way to end a Thai spa experience than with mango sticky rice?

After four hours of being steamed, scrubbed, wrapped, soaked, massaged, and pampered, sitting down for mango sticky rice felt like the perfect ending.

Is Oasis Spa Bangkok Worth It?

For me, absolutely. Watch my video experience here.

I’ve experienced several hotel and resort spas around Thailand, including spas at 5-star hotels in Phuket, and Oasis Spa Sukhumvit 31 has been my favorite spa experience in Thailand so far.

What I loved most was that it didn’t feel like I was simply booking one massage.

The entire four-hour Oasis Experience felt like a complete spa journey from the private steam room and body treatments to the aromatherapy bath, synchronized four-handed massage, facial, and post-treatment refreshments.

I walked out feeling so refreshed that it genuinely reminded me of how I feel after spending several relaxing days in Phuket. Except this time, I got that feeling after just four hours in the middle of Bangkok.

Should You Add a Spa Day to Your Bangkok Itinerary?

If your Bangkok itinerary involves shopping malls, markets, temples, restaurants, and thousands of steps every day, I highly recommend setting aside a few hours for a proper spa experience.

Visit Oasis Spa Bangkok in Sukhumvit 31 if you want a quiet escape without actually leaving the city.

Sometimes the best thing you can add to a packed Bangkok itinerary isn’t another attraction.

It’s four hours of doing absolutely nothing while someone else does all the work.

And apparently, sometimes that requires four hands.
