Around 2 weeks ago, I came across a newly launched online shopping site named Seoulunni on Instagram which offers a wide array of Korean beauty & skin care products.
I have never heard of So Natural brand before and upon researching I discovered that their products are mainly formulated with naturally-derived ingredients with minimal additives for natural looking skin.
They have sent me their So Natural Skin Booster Milk Oil Serum. Description says, “it is a brightening sparkle oil serum that lightly embraces dry skin with the hydration oil and nutritious serum to make your skin milky white and moistly glow 365 days a year.”
I had a few pimple marks at the sides of my nose from trying out a skincare set a month ago and was hoping that this product will help it lighten quickly –and hoping that it will not cause my skin to breakout.
Serum is packed in a transparent thick glass bottle with a dropper. And as any other Korean brand, the details at the box are written in Korean, no english information so I had to check the website for the ingredients.
Milk Protein Extract (10%), Geranium Oil, Nano Vitamin E, Grapefruit Peel Oil, Basil Oil, Adenosine (wrinkle improvement) and Niacinamide (Whitening Ingredient)
Consistency & Scent
Consistency is similar to Elmer’s glue –thick but flowy. It has a scent similar to Vitamin C serums which is a subtle citrus-y aroma. I like that the scent is not too strong.
How to use?
After applying the facial toner, dispense a moderate amount on lightly spread on the face. I like keeping my serums in the refrigerator for the instant cooling effect. 🙂
Did it cause breakout on my skin?
I’m very cautious in trying out new products since I have a very sensitive skin. I tend to breakout on new products or if I changed my skincare routine. Fortunately, after two weeks of trying this product, I did not breakout. Yaaas!!! I use it every night before bedtime and love how glowing my skin is the next morning!
It’s a bit greasy upon application but the skin absorbs it after a few minutes that’s why I don’t use it in the morning –unless I will just stay at home.
This is a photo of myself on my 12th day… just woke up, unedited, and unfiltered! (with messy brows haha)
No makeup and my acne scars lightened that you can’t almost see it!
Is it worth the price?
It’s worth Php1,160 and I think with the big bottle, it’s worth spending! Just a reminder that your skin type might react differently from mine. But I guess, it’s worth a try –not just because it was given to me, but because I really tried it for more than 2 weeks and I love the results!
