If you know me so well, you know that I’m addicted to handmade soaps and scented candles –which I love buying whenever I visit a new country! When Diwatang Maria messaged me to try their soaps, I actually felt excited because I haven’t really tried any locally handmade soaps from the Philippines. I know right!?

I tried their soaps as soon as I got it and was actually been using it for a week now and I’m really impressed with the quality of their soaps. Diwatang Maria aims to lead the green beauty movement by producing eco-friendly soaps and biodegradable packaging. They use only natural and organic ingredients!

They have three kinds of soaps: Maria Cacao, Maria Sinukuan, and Maria Makiling. All of which cost Php 128/each only!
Maria Cacao

Maria Cacao is my fave of all three! It makes me feel like I’m bathing in chocolate syrup! Haha!! It smells like cacao but not too overpowering. Don’t worry, you won’t smell like chocolate spilled on you! It is made with Oatmeal Kernel and Collodial Oatmeal that relieves skin irritation and itching that makes it perfect for sensitive skin.
Maria Sinukuan

If you want to have glowing skin, this might be the perfect one for you! It smells like coconut too! It is made with Oatmeal Kernel and Collodial Oatmeal that relieves skin irritation and itching that makes it perfect for sensitive skin.
Maria Makiling

Whenever I hear this name, it reminds me of my childhood storybooks. It smells like the usual kojic papaya soap but I was surprised that it’s not too drying on the skin like the others! It is made with Papaya Enzyme and Kojic Acid that lightens the skin and fades dark spots. Kojic Acid is an organic compound derived from fungi-like mushrooms, used for fighting against melasma and hyper-pigmentation.

Oh! and by the way, it’s their second anniversary today so make sure to send them a greeting! Also, as I celebrate my 100K followers on Tiktok, we (together with Diwatang Maria) are giving away three sets of their soaps to three lucky followers!
