Product Review: LANA PH

Anyone who knows me personally knows how I’m addicted to anything skincare related and handmade soaps. That is why I was so excited to try on LANA PH Products.

Who is Lana PH?

Lana products are locally made in the Philippines that are all-natural, non-comedogenic, cruelty-free skincare products.

We aim to take care of you and momma earth while you take on the world.

-LANA PH

On top of this, I love that their brand is eco-conscious. The products actually arrived in a shoe-box like packaging with shredded papers to replace the use of plastics and bubble wrap! And they used to have refill stations before the pandemic, so we can totally re-use the bottles.

Lana Products

LANA Soothe & Hydrate Gentle Cleanser

It is a fragrance-free and soap-free formula that is perfect for those with sensitive skin, and I have been using this for 2 weeks already. I’m always cautious of what I use in my face because I break out so bad whenever I try out other products. But for 2 weeks now, no breakouts and my skin have never been this good –not too oily and not dry either!

What I love about this is that it has Niacinamide that helps minimize skin redness and pimples. It also has Oat Protein that naturally cleanses and unclogs pores and helps absorbs excess oil.

LANA DNA Repair Elixir

I’ve heard so many things about this, and actually this is the product I’m most excited to try!

It has Centella Asiatica, which helps heal acne, lighten pimple marks and uneven skin tone. I have a few acne marks on my chin due to a previous product I used (I’ll update this thread with a before & after).

It also has Collagen, Niacinamide, and Sodium Hyaluronate which makes skin soft, hydrates skin, and minimizes redness.

After 2 weeks of using this day & night, no new acne or breakouts! And I love that it is fragrance-free.

LANA Pure Argan Oil

I’ve been using Argan Oil for years now, and it’s my holy grail. I’ve been using Lana Argan Oil whenever I feel my face, skin and nails are extra dry.

I’ve been applying Lana Argan Oil to my scalp and hair to hydrate and get rid of my dandruff which is the cause of cold weather after staying in Denmark for a month.

I have tried so many products already and even my HG Argan Oil, and to no avail, I still have extra dry scalp. It has been two weeks of applying LANA Argan Oil to my scalp every 3 days… the dandruff wasn’t really gone, but I can see a bit of improvement. You know that’s the thing with skincare, you need time. Nothing will work overnight, so I’m happy with little progress I see with my Lana Pure Argan Oil.

LANA Skin Protect Brightening Sunblock

Staying at home doesn’t mean you don’t need sunblocks! And I’m really not a fan of using sticky sunblocks, so I must say this has been my new favourite.

It’s not sticky, and it’s SPF 80!! It has a special formula that blocks UVA and UVB rays and helps brighten skin and even out dark spots.

I also tried applying this under my foundation (Giorgio Armani Designer Lift, Nars and Dior Forever), and it works well. It didn’t make my foundation slip or look cakey.

LANA Lash & Brow Growth Serum

After having several sessions of lash extensions, I felt like I lost a few of my lashes. So I’m really excited to try this out. I have been using this for a week now, and I’ve been documenting my lashes every day… which I will create a separate blog after a month or so maybe.

This mild formulation promotes hair growth, making your lashes and brows look fuller and thicker. It’s made of Castor Oil, Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17, and Aloe Vera Extract.

It’s fragrance-free and so far I never experienced any allergic reaction to this.

Let’s now move on to my favourite part!! Soaps!!!

LANA Soaps

They have 3 soaps at the moment: Activated Charcoal, Brightening, and Age-Defying.

I love that their soaps have a very mild scent and don’t make my skin feel so dry after using any of the three.

The verdict

I love the brand and their stand on being eco-conscious. And that their products cater to all skin types.

I look forward to going back to normal (without this pandemic thing!) and experiencing their refill stations.
