If you’re searching for a London hotel in a location that makes sightseeing easy, Page8 London is worth considering.
During our trip, we wanted a central London hotel where we could walk to major attractions, restaurants, shopping areas, and theatres without constantly relying on Uber, the Tube, or buses.
Page8 London ended up being one of the most convenient hotels we stayed at during our trip. It combines a central location, modern interiors, comfortable rooms, and easy access to some of London’s most popular areas.

So if you’re researching the best London hotel for a short city break, especially if location is your priority, here’s our experience staying at Page8 London.
Why Page8 London is a great central London hotel
For me, the biggest reason to choose this hotel is the location.
Page8 is right by Trafalgar Square and the National Gallery, placing you in the heart of Central London.

From the hotel, you can easily walk to Covent Garden, Chinatown, Leicester Square, Piccadilly Circus, West End theatres, cafés, restaurants, and shopping areas.
This is especially useful if you only have a few days in London.
Instead of spending part of your day commuting, you can simply walk outside and start exploring.
Choosing a centrally located London hotel can also help you save money on Uber rides and reduce the amount of time spent figuring out public transportation.
For short trips, that convenience can make a huge difference.
Our Double Room at Page8 London

We stayed in the Double Room, which is around 180 square feet and designed for two guests.
Like many hotel rooms in Central London, the space is compact, but it felt well planned and comfortable for a short stay.
The room includes a queen-size bed, a working ledge, a Marshall speaker, and an in-room music playlist.

There are also large windows that bring in plenty of natural light and give you views of the surrounding city and skyline.
Minimalist design and thoughtful details
The room has a modern minimalist design with bronze accents and marble detailing.
It feels simple without feeling plain.
There are also large mirrors throughout the room, which made getting ready easier, especially when two people are sharing the space.
The hotel also provides drip coffee bags and tea in the room, while the bathroom comes with Appelles amenities.
These little details make the room feel polished without being overly complicated.
Breakfast at Page Common

One of the nice things about staying at Page8 London is having Page Common downstairs.
It’s convenient if you want to grab coffee and pastries before heading out for a full day in the city.

We decided to stay and have breakfast there instead.
It was a nice way to start the morning — sitting with coffee and breakfast while watching the streets outside before heading out to explore.
Is Page8 one of the best London hotels for location?

If your definition of the best London hotel is somewhere that gives you easy access to the city, then Page8 makes a strong case.
Its biggest advantage is how much you can reach on foot.
When you stay at a central London hotel like this, you’re not only paying for the room. You’re also paying for convenience.
You save time getting from one attraction to another, spend less on transport, and have more flexibility with your itinerary.
You can head back to the hotel between activities, drop off shopping bags, freshen up before dinner, or walk home after a West End show without worrying too much about transportation.
Is Page8 London worth it?
For us, yes.

Page8 works especially well if you want a central London hotel that puts you close to many of the city’s most popular attractions.
The rooms are cosy and stylish, the large windows are a nice touch, Page Common makes breakfast and coffee easy, and the location is the real highlight.
For a short London trip, being able to walk almost everywhere made our days much easier.
If you’re comparing options for the best London hotel, I’d definitely consider Page8 if your priorities are location, convenience, modern design, and easy access to Central London.
